Make a PDF small enough to email

How to do it

Open the PDF and choose Save a Smaller Copy (or press Ctrl+K and type "smaller").
Save the new, lighter file. Big scans usually shrink the most.
Still too big? Use Split Document by maximum file size to send it in parts.

Good to know

Many email services cap attachments at around 20 to 25 MB.
Save a Smaller Copy makes a new file, so your original stays as it is.
Scans and photos shrink the most. Text-only PDFs are usually small already.
